It's a sign..

So I'm working on the pond again and what do I find, but  little salamander- I *think a western longtoed.. hard to see him in the water, but he's got an out on the pipe he's been hanging on so I didn't want to disturb him.. What better sign is there that this is the house we were meant to be in than to have my favorite place visited, maybe even inhabited by the critters I spent literally years studying in college, years following as a kid. I haven't seen one since we moved out here (granted herping with loud little kids in tow as they learn too makes it hard to spot much lol)

House Do wants...

Been thinking we should probably get some of these for the hot tub stairs, and maybe outside the patio door? That's at least $50 though, depending on how many steps we do..

Steamed asparagus and leeks

Diced shallots

Pepper

Sea salt

Butter

1/2 c veg broth or water

Make a foil  pouch and add everything. Bake pouch on a pan in the oven at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes.
